Monthly Emails Driving Traffic and Revenue
Monthly email newsletters were sent to subscribers across Share to Buy's seven geographic regions, with each version featuring content relevant to their local market. Seven different regional variations were produced each month, which required careful organisation of files and templates to make updates and changes efficient.
Each newsletter included a featured property with links to sponsored listings, as well as links to relevant blog content from the platform. This approach drove traffic to the site and generated revenue through sponsored properties and content. Email templates were developed using custom HTML and CSS to work across older versions of Outlook and multiple devices, with backup options and Litmus testing to ensure compatibility. The templates included accessibility features such as dark mode support with alternative branding, vector-based text overlays, and alt text styling for screen readers. The newsletters achieved click-through rates of 3-5% on average, which performed at or above industry benchmarks for email engagement.
